Acknowledged as an outstanding teacher by both her students and the college industry, Ms. Swabacker’s instruction shapes students’ skills and raises the bar for their problem-solving abilities.

Her team-building within the classroom translates into collaborative design within her company. Teaching is about synthesizing raw ideas, managing expectations, and maintaining deadlines. Teaching is also a “give-back” to the design community. The fresh new ideas and skill-sets emanating from the students is contagious, resulting in Aurora Design’s exciting architecture.
